September 21, 2005 Jesse James was 2 years old and weighed in about 40 pounds.
He was a tiny little bundle of excess energy. Jesse was rescued from
a horrible place where the dogs were allowed to chase the pigs and many
of them were killed. Jesse, I believe was the father of the babies who
I rescued at the same time. He was a very frightened little pig, but
experienced some peace and safety after entering the gates of CCRC.
His death was very sudden and unexpected. His final resting place is
on a sunny hillside beside the pond where the breezes blow softly rippling
the grasses, making soothing music. Jo Marie Cope, Executive Director
